Hi all. Me and my wife have gathered and submitted all the requirements as indicated by our immigration attorney who in turn sent them together with the necessary forms to NVC. All the fees have been paid as well. At this point, they have advised us to wait for NVC to finish processing our case and forward it to the Manila Embassy to schedule our interview. My question then is, where are we on the timeline at this point? Looking at other people's timelines, I see dates for Packet 3 received\sent and Packet 4 but those come after the consulate has received the petition.

I think your attorney has sent AOS and IV packages along with their payments. If so, give them about 1 to 2 weeks to review your documents from the date they receive. If everything goes fine, then they will mark your case as "Complete" and then place it inline to schedule an interview. After interview is scheduled, all documents sent to NVC will be forwarded to foreign consulate and they will send you a written interview letter and/or packet-4 depending upon what Manila consulate is following for CR1 notification procedure.

NOTE: NVC also notifies when interview is scheduled with an interview date in an email as well.
