That would be called local, not global. As I'm sure you know, global warming refers to an increase in the global mean temperature. It does not imply that every location anywhere in the world is hot

I am a committed evangelizing atheist but I was brought up a Primitive Methodist and I know my bible

They made me foreswear women and hard liquor when I was 10 (the pledge)

In fact my knowledge of jesus' teaching, and my subsequent revulsion at how the typical christian (especially in the US) actually acts, made me into an atheist. Atheism is the only credible position for a thinking and moral person in the USA

I am actually a great fan of christianity - and I would be the world's most committed christian if they stopped insisting on the existence of god

There is NO scientific evidence that god exists

There is plenty of scientific evidence that the greenhouse effect exists

Your twisting of science to suit your religion is an example of what I am talking about. If your church told you the scientists are right (as in the case of a round earth when they changed their position), you would be the first to admit climate change

Your church used to burn people who said the earth went round the sun

A now retired Episcopalian bishop, I believe his name was John Shelby Spong, wrote several very good books about this. He termed himself a 'non-theistic Christian'! It makes sense to me.
