Didn't know where to put this so i did it here! Has anyone had to wait a long period of time to get their visa and passport back from the US Embassy in the Philippines? We had our interview on the 26th of June was approved with no papers of anything wrong just to go to the 2go window and make sure the address was right. We called being we not hear anything yet and here it is the 10 of July they said we was in under review or some BS like that? That others were a head of us. If they needed to review anything they should have told us and give a slip or something. I think there are a bunch of dumb a$$es that work there and don't know what the hell is going on. I'm tired of waiting and waiting for what they can't even tell you that!!!!!!!!!!

Even though we are far from each other right now I know you are close to me in other ways, you are always here in my heart. You give me reason to look forward to each day,You are my life and a dream come true.there are no words to express how i feel for you.You are the light in my darkness. There could never be words strong enough to express my love for you but I'm going to show it to you everyday as long as i live.I love you with my body, soul and mind.I love you very much baby.Mwaaaaaaaaah!

As I remember you have a K2 as well. As I have commented on a previous post that if you have a K2 expect longer than the usual 6 - 10 days processing as we see with many K1 visa only. My Fiance and her daughter received their Visas after 23 working days. Additional verification was needed for the child. I thought we were not going to receive before our flight on July 8th.

Yes you are right it's for my fiance and her daughter, What kind of extra verification did they need? Wow 23 days! well at least i know now i will have to wait a bit longer it's just so frustrating after all the waiting then more waiting . I hope we don't have trouble at the CFO? Can you tell me a little to what to look for there and do i need to pay for the daughter being she is only 7 yrs old? Thanks again for your help and info.

Yes, it was a long and frustrating wait, I almost rebooked our flight to the US cause I was not sure we were going to get in time, but I called one more time before cancelling the flights and was told the K2 was ready for printing.

I don't know if it is normal procedure for K2 to go through additional check or maybe because her daughter father was not a filipino citizen and needed to verify the childs citizenship or any pending custody issue, that was my take anyways after pushing for answers why the delay in issuing the K2 Visa.

For the CFO she will still pay the fees but don't need to attend, just have your Fiance bring her daughters passport so they can put the completion of CFO sticker.

Also I advise you to bring a valid BC for the child with you when going to the airport, lucky we had one in hand one of the Philippine immigration officer asked for it before letting us enter.

Well good luck!
