Is the AOS procedure from Work/Travel Visas different (faster?) than from family based visas? Seems that those in the other July filer thread are considerably ahead of our progress despite about three of you who have posted in this thread receiving their card (or in production).

Speaking of which, if anyone needs to update their timelines, that would be great to help the others figure out what's going on...?

i'm still waiting on an answer to the materials I submitted for an RFE which they receced 16 AUG.

• 27 APR 2012 - Collected Visa at Embassy
• 29 MAY 2012 - Arrival in US after two weeks holiday together!

That other thread is for people adjusting from other visas, am i correct? this one is for family-based visas. I feel like I belong to this one lol.

Still waiting for our NOA's to come by mail :( I know it hasn't been long, but i'd like to physically have them in my hands!!

Hi new to this thread. I sent my AOS in on July 16th and had biometrics done on August 3rd. Now just in limbo like everyone else. I think that the other thread is for people who are adjusting for a I-130 and this thread seems to be people who are adjusting from K1

Do you know why? it's been 4 months and I think most people are getting their green cards. Have you called USCIS?

Yes I have called USCIS every week to see what the status is and they keep telling me that it is being processed. I think the people that you are referring to that have gotten their GC's in 4 months may have come in on an I130 instead of a K1 Visa. I figure that I will give it until the new year and then if I still have not received anything, I am going to get my senator or congress person involved.

We are just waiting like everyone else. I have been wanting and waiting to hear from people who were transfered to the CSC in July to see if there has been any movement from them.

Anyone else from this thread have any updates or movement on their file? Seems like everything has come to a stand-still.
