Sorry you are experiencing all of this, did you go to the appointment anyway? It maybe could have worked still. Maybe you need to get a co-sponsor just to make sure things go smoothly. Anyways, Good Luck with everything.

Well, we didn't get our mail until after the appointment had already passed. We called the USCIS and they said that this is really typical, so we just need to mail the form back asking that we get scheduled a new date since we got our letter too late. Pretty easy i think :)

Yeah i'm thinking we'll get a cosponsor, sucks that I have to bother my mom to do this ####### though, when I should be able to do it myself. :( When we called USCIS they asked if we wanted to ask about our RFE and we did, all they did was read a dang script to us about what an RFE is and finally after about 10 minutes, told me that they can't help us. Why is the government so frustrating?

On August 14th, I sent in form I-765 (Employment Authorization)and have yet to hear back from Immigration via Email/text if they have gotten or started processing the document. The package was successfully delivered to the Vermont office and still patiently waiting to find out something. Should I call this Thursday if I don't hear anything from them to check on the status of EAD?

We sent my wife's AP and work permit to Chicago, I think they process those at the NBC in Nebraska.

I looked at the directions for the I-765, I think you sent it to the wrong location.

According to the Instructions for C9 which I applied for, it said the Vermont lockbox. I guess I will call USCIS today or tomorrow to see if I have to resend the package, or what can be done.

Ok I called USCIS and they said it was suppose to go to Chicago like ama said. However, the lady said to wait 30 days from the time of sending the package to call again if I didn't receive a notice. I was also told NOT to resend the package to Chicago because I could have two pending cases. Hopefully Vermont will forward my package to Chicago.
