waiting for interview date

hello everyone, my case was finally completed at NVC on june, 29 i called to askk when will my interview date might be they said they have no idea, very frustrating, just called today and still nothing, does anyone know how long it usually takes for a interviem in DR embassy, or when does NVC assigned the interviews in what dates of the month.. getting anxious here.. thank you everyone for all the advice i have gotten on my journey couldnt have done it with out all of you.. thank God for this site..

Hey hun first of all, congrats on your case complete. Your one step closer :)and as for the interview date, it varies. I received my date 13 days after my case complete but i know some people who have waited almost a month. They are VERY busy over the summer but just remember that you WILL get a date eventually. I know its hard to do, but try not to think about it too much. It will come when you least expect it to. <3 <3

My case has been Completed since June 26th.... and I still have no interview Date.... It's Very Frustrating!!!! But Hopefully we have some news this Week!!!!

Hang in there, que despues de aqui, all your husband has to do is get his medical and you guys are all set for the interview.

De nada amor!! Everything is going good. Looking for an apartment so when my fiance and his daughter come we will be all settled in. Im really excited and looking forward to it...especially knowing baseball season will still be around when he comes and I can take him to the games...hes so excited because he plays baseball in DR..I cant wait to do all those little things with him. That's why the wait is so worth it, the worst part is over for you, the interview will be a smooth one and your hubby and step daughter will be here soon too!! No need to worry because God is with you

congrats on your case complete but dont trust NVC they change their answers evrytime you call..anotther thing is thta time varies a lot if your case was completed june 29th im thinking that you can get an interview within the next week because they schedule interviews the first two weeks of every month BUT NVC has been very unpredictible lately so its very hard to have an idea but i will say that this or next week you will hear something just KEEP CALLING EVERYDAY and of course call DOS too

Do not worry dont frustrate yourself after you know your interview dateyou will be going nuts because time will fly and you'll feel like no time to get prepared so tranquilitaaa after all this is over you will make jokes about this whole process..Now hubby and i make jokes about how desperate we were to know our interview date and also how excited we were everytime something was updated...its all a process ofups and downs and yours is coming to an end soon so enjoy the good part of this process

I waited almost a month around April. NVC seems to be extremely busy this summer so I'd say give yourself some time. Call NVC and DOS everyday. I am guessing it will be sometime in late August or September. Hopefully not later. Good luck and congrats on cc.

My case was complete Aug.1 of last year and I found out about my interview Aug. 09th. I was calling everyday so maybe they just wanted me off their case and scheduled me. So in my case it took 8 days. but I agree with the others....the summer is a busy time for the embassy in DR so at maximum give it about a month.

sanchez yo se que pronto estaremos juntos con Dios por delante,yo al igual que tu busque apartamento y me mude hace 3 dias, para recibir a mi esposo y a mi hijastra, porque mi otro apartamento era muy pequeño para todos cuando ellos lleguen, today is a good day because im keeping busy unpacking all the stuff.. so no time to think LOL and tomorrow back to work.. hope your love ones can be with you very soon..

LOL i agree im almost there, pero caramba no quita esta angustia and to get it over with, too stressful, i hope i have good news PRONTO LOL
