do i attach the photos on the DS-156 forms when i post them back to the embassy?

or do i bring them along with me to the interview?

I'm not at that stage yet, but I would think it's best to take them with you WITHOUT ATTACHING THEM, but that's my opinion, maybe someone else will comment (someone who has already been at the interview stage). :yes:

check with the embassy. in japan, we only need to mail ds-230 back to the embassy. after we obtain all the documnets needed for the interview, we fax a form in to schedule an appointment. We bring all the forms along witht he picture to the embassy on the day of interview.

I glued the photo on the DS- 156 form when I sent it back to the German consulate.......the instruction also said: DS- 156 including one photograph

NOOOOO!!! dont attach the photos to the DS-156 forms ;)

take them with you to the embassy and they get attached there infront of a consular official :thumbs:
