what did you load your husbands up with for interview? This is my dilemma now. There's no way i am pinishing the may with 3 years of emails, chat logs and IM's. And it is Lagos they could careless but something. Give me your take please.

I'm not personally from a country where submitting chat conversations is necessary so my advice probably isn't helpful but I would be inclined to keep my 'personal convos' to myself and send portions of chat logs taht are relevant or prove on going conversations over the months. They cannot seriously be interested in every little thing you've said for months on end, I highly doubt they read every bit of them.

In my opinion chat logs could so easily be falsified (with what you can do with editting on computers today) that a chat log can't really be the best evidence anyway.

Again - just my personal opinion.

I'm also including phone bills, and travel documents.

OK some of your responses are hilarous! But I think I may have worded it incorrectly. Of course I skipped over the "pornographic" type conversation ( God this is so embarrassing and I'm really glad you all are strangers)but a lot of the time my fiance makes sexual jokes that I consider embarrassing. I have been trying to go through mouth and mouths of conversation and usually inserts one sexual joke here and there. Thank you all for your responses I will black out everything, I didnt realize they just wanted the log and not the conversation. Again thanks again for the laughs and the good advice

If memory serves me correctly. A couple of months back in the Nigerian Embassy Review. There was a wife of a Nigerian man who posted in that the CO asked her husband why did they submitt e-mails with strong sexual content. The husband resoponded that they were afraid if the blacked it out or skiped it the CO might inquire why or what are you hiding. The CO then made the husband read the e-mails out loud so others could hear. They were approved, but it was a little embarrasing.. Personaly I would black out the strong material if I need to part of the conversation.

I offered to show some emails to my IO for the K1 and he said "no! i don't want to see what they say!" and I told him I blacked out anything "suss" and he said people sometimes send intimate pictures too, thinking it helps their case.

From what I noticed during my Interview is..they will ask your proof of communication and they dont even dare to read them. I mean you only had limited of hours to be there and they wont spend hours and hours just to read your emails/ chat logs while so many applicants is there waiting. bring them anyway, if that is your prove then give it to them.
