Certainly do not want to forget to enclose the check.

Good thing you weren't applying for marriage. Figured since the USCIS was sending everything to us with first class mail, would follow suit. For my wife, that big brown envelop was loaded with first class stamps. For my stepdaughter with the five year, took just two stamps. Like 86 cents worth like I recall. Printed everything we sent double sided and triple checked it. Also made duplicate copies, USCIS is well known for misplacing stuff.

What did you send? I'm getting my packet together and it's pretty much complete, just sans check (and i still need to make a complete copy for my file) and it's not thick at all! I counted it and it's just over 20 pages...

For the three marriage privilege, everything. All the evidence we submitted for the AOS and ROC stages. Since they took so long in processing our I-751, well over a year, requested our latest tax return and bank statements. Got that again just a few weeks later for the N-400. Wanted to see my birth certificate again, 60 pages total of our divorce papers, again as proof we were both free to marry, then our marriage certificate again, the third time.

All of those legal documents, with the key word of joint, taxes, legal joint ownership of our home and vehicles, we had no proof that we jointly owned a toaster, insurance, bank accounts, etc. Gathered a happy marriage is one that pays bills together, and takes care of each other if one spouse dies. Never asked my wife about our sex life, that is not part of a happy marriage, but paying taxes together is.

In reviewing all of the evidence the USCIS requested for marriage, a happy marriage is all about money, sharing your wealth and even taking good care of your partner after death where the surviving spouse gets all of your money. And most important, paying your taxes and other bills together.

For the five year, could have been reduced to just showing that green card, two passport photos, the N-400, and that check. No longer care if you are paying taxes together. Stepdaughter just had to turn barely over 18, our 13 month delay in the AOS had nothing to do about that. She had to wait another two years, another 1,350 miles of driving, already been to biometrics twice, no same day oath at our field office. They did want to see her driver's license or a state ID, not realizing that is only a secondary form of ID, strictly based on her green card.

Should have realized with a driver's license, that was proof enough a 50 buck traffic fine was paid four year prior, but they did back off of that but wanted her to respond to assault and battery charges when she was just 17 months old. It sure helped me dealing with mentally ill patients for years, learn how to handle dealing with nuts. Seems like the USCIS has an over abundance of them.

Okay, so you elected to send relationship evidence, which isn't actually required in the packet. Okok. Now it makes sense :)

I'm just sending the required docs (IRS tax return transcripts for the a, b or c thing) and taking relationship evidence to the interview.

Thanks!
