I called the NVC today. Today is the 15th business day since we receiced the I-797

dated June 18th. The telephone representative told me that thay received our petition

today. I was very excited to hear this!!! I was ready to write down our Visa number but

then she said. "It could take up tp 20 days to enter all the information from your

paperwork." ha ha! It seems like these rules are changing all the time. I am very

thankful that our petition is "In house" at the NVC, so believe me I feel very fortunate

and I am not complaining. Has any one else heard the "20 day to enter the information" line yet?

Thanks,

Jesse

20 days? When I was calling their stock answer was 60 days.

It won't take 20 days, give it until...say...Friday and then call again.

I used to call twice a day, don't be shy about calling

Good luck

Ok thanks... I have been calling basically every day for the last 2 weeks. So I believe

I will continue with my daily ritual. In fact I will probably call tonight on my way home

from work. The last time I called during the evening I got a very pleasant man on the phone

who was very nice to speak to. :star:

Thanks!

I guess everyone is different when it comes to the completion. But yes, in my case they stated it would take 20 days not including weekends to enter the case in the system. Delays and more delays. I wish they had a better system. Have a group verify the documents, have another group scan the documents, then have someone send out the emails.....I just assisted Quality Control for NVC....LOL. Always have a sense of humor with everything we do.

Yes, I'm still waiting for a case number, and the petition was received a week ago. I call first thing in the morning (UK lunch break time for me) and my partner calls in the evening (around 11pm), just in case it is in the system later in the day, after I have called. I've heard everything from ten business days to twenty, so we just keep calling...

UPDATE...

Hello everyone. I Called the NVC on my way home from work, 3:30 pm. mountain time. After

being told to wait 20 days this morning, I was told this afternoon that all our information

was in the system and given our Manila case number!!!

We are very happy! We will be making our BPI payment soon so that we can schedule Katherine's

interview.

Thanks everyone. For those of you still waiting, I hope you find out very soon.

Regards,

Jesse
