I got my EAD through my Asylum Case. I'm married to a US citizen. I'm still processing for my AOS.

I do not know much of anything about asylum cases, but one would think if your EAD expires, you cannot continue to work with it.

You should have applied for one when you filed your AOS. You cannot work with an expired EAD even if AOS is pending. Filing for one with AOS is free and I suggest you send in the application along with a copy of your receipt for the AOS filing to obtain one. It will still take about 90 days to receive it.

I have applied one along with my AOS. My EAD will expire soon and i haven't got the new one yet bcoz i filled my AOS on June. So, it will take about 90days.

Yes they will give you a hard time because your EAD is expired and that means you cant legally work.

The goal is 90 days, some get EAD before that time. It took 60-something days for mine, not including time from approval until it was in my hand.

Working without authorization is usually forgiven when being the spouse of a US citizen however I'd advise against it and follow "the law of the land", so to speak, hence Lawful Permanent Resident. When will your current EAD expire?

Illegal work is generally forgiven for spouses of USCs but it is a negative factor - just not one used by itself to deny. Additionally, if your job happens to catch that it is expired, I would expect them to let you go.
