Let's talk about our status, worries, good things happenings, etc.

Let me start. I filed my I130 last May 15, 2012 and I have no word yet except my NOA1 telling me that my applications have been received and under review. I am hoping that I'd hear something by September 3 - 29, the date this web site is predicting I should be hearing something or at best get my I130 approved.

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Jordan
Timeline

right now the estimated wait time for NOA2 is 5 months, not sure why your timeline estimated only 4 months. Hopefully for your sake it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if your NOA2 was more like October. Good luck!!!

The estimated time of 4 months is from all the updates made by various posters. I suppose when all is tallied, it updates our "estimates" to what others are feeding back here. It sure makes us feel good, however. We'll see when that time is reached and nothing happens.

Ha ha!! I checked my timeline again and now it says I130 approval between August 30 and September 9!! Ain't that great (only if it's true, however!!! sigh!!) By the way all the other timelines near mine says the same thing! Maybe the election has something to do with it! LOL..

Today, I've received an email from USCIS telling me the following. What could this possibly be?

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On July 23, 2012, your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of July 23, 2012, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results

listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current

processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

Thanks guys for the replies..no matter how scant they seemed to be. It's August 1, 2012 and I have not received that RFE yet in the mail. Worry...worry..worry..

I have received visa updates for some of you May filers and I am glad for you. I see that there's already a couple of May filers who have received their I130 approval, considering that the USCIS documents being processed are now the ones at April 10, 2012.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Last night I was shocked to receive an email from USCIS stating that my I130 was approved for my wife and child. This after receiving an I130 RFE from them saying that they needed something for me. Up to date, I have not received that RFE and it's been 12 days since then. Oh well, I hope it wasn't a mistake on their part (the approval I meant). CSC must be moving along!!!!

There are others, whose I130's been approved as I receive email update on their timelines also. Finally we are at half-time; if this had been a game. A record 80 days after submission of my I130.

I looked at your timeline and I see what you mean! I hope you get something this month. More May filers here in California are getting their NOA2 approval notices. Out of 10 May filers, 5 of us have already been approved! I hope mine wasn't an error..he he he..LOL..
