Nope, don't re-send them, because it usually takes about a week to receive and review packages.

But if they say that they've reviewed them and there's something missing, that's when you should worry. That's what happened to me, but no worries, I sent in what they asked for and got case complete about a week after that! :)

Good luck!

Great Thanks for all the info

And for the supporting docs for DS-260 how did you scan your photos? did you write the name and dob on same page you scaned the photo?

trying to avoid RFE having religious wedding on October 27 and hope I can get an appointmnet the week after so I can go to Juarez with the Wife dont want to have her go on her own.

already finished DS-261 and just paid for IV just waiting to show paid to fill out DS-260 no news yet about them recieving my AOS hope they are working on it

I was reading somewhere that if attachments are bigger than 10mb you might have some issues getting them the email do you know anything about that..?

Once again Thank you very much

good luck with the Interview

You're welcome and good luck!

Yes, that's the right way to do the photos. But scan both photos, facing up, side by side. I also put the case number on there. Check the information page to see what info is needed.

No guarantees on getting an interview date that quick, but I hope you do!

Sounds like you're almost finished with the NVC process! I've heard the 10 MB thing too. I took my docs to a Kinko's type place and had them scan it. Charged me 14 bucks but they had it all together in an e-mail in 5 minutes and way less than 10 MB. For some reason my scanner wanted to scan things ginormously MB heavy and I was trying and trying so taking it to Kinkos was my only solution and I'm glad I did it.

Okay, do you have a filled out DS-230? Do it, it's worth the trouble of filling it out beforehand to have all of your info ready. That way, when the DS-260 is available, you can fill it out with no stress (I wish I had done that!)

Another thing I wish that I had done - go ahead and send your supporting documents ASAP, or at the latest tomorrow. Because guess what? They review your DS-260 AFTER they receive your supporting documents. It usually takes a week for them to review your e-mail, so your IV invoice will be showed as paid by then and you'll have your DS-260 done and they'll review it all more quickly. I sent my supporting documents the same day but earlier in the day, and no problems, but I wished that I had done it earlier when I found that out!

To get the news on the AOS, you have to call the NVC.

Good luck!

Scheduled ASC appointment!

I've been wondering about this, did you schedule it for Juarez or locally? I'm thinking it would be so much easier to have my husband take care of his ASC in Guadalajara and then show up in Juarez with one less thing to worry about, but don't know if doing it that way could cause some unexpected hassles.

I'm curious to see which way you guys went, please share!

You can see by my signature that it took almost a month! Although I think it's a good thing because even the 3 week wait seems to be taking forever. But Some people receive theirs sooner.

We didn't have the luxury of having an ASC place nearby, so I scheduled it in Juarez. If I were him I would do it in my hometown and have one less thing to worry about! :)

Ok, I am FINALLY at this point. IV bill invoiced yesterday, paid it within a minute of it becoming available and now am chewing fingernails down to stubs until we are able to complete the DS-260. I am really wanting to send off the email with the documents since it took a full seven days for them to even open my AOS email. I want to jump in line ASAP, so I am taking your advice! However, since we have been unlucky enough to have everything invoiced right before close of business on Friday, you think we should wait till Monday? Our AOS invoice didn't show as paid until the following Wednesday which is the only thing making me nervous. Advice?
