Ok... so I am a bit worried about some of the requested items and a bit confused about others.

1. All documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status

- have no idea what exactly is it that they are referring to? HELP

2. Husband's/Petitioner's birth certificate....

- long story short, hubby was born as his parent's were vacationing in Thailand, his mom is looking for the certificate unsure if she has it. We do however have ALL of his passports including the one obtained at the Thai embassy 1 week after he was born. This was used so the family can get back into the country. Sigh.... I am a little worried that we will get rejected if we cannot produce the birth certificate

3. Proof of relationship... this I am not worried about but I wanted to know if I can save money on photo paper and make collages on regular paper with multiple pics on one page?!

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Russia
Timeline

I brought a huge pile of documents, originals and copies, to the interview today. They only asked for passports and if I have any additional evidence of bona fide marriage other than what I have already submitted with my AOS application. Didn't even ask for birth certificates. This deosn't mean it would be the same for you though. Just bring in copies of what you have submitted new evidence (if any). Good luck!

AOS Journey:

Day 0 - 05/10/12: Mailed AOS package to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Priority Mail;

Day 1 - 05/11/12: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox;

Day 6 - 05/16/12: NOA1 email/text notification;

Day 7 - 05/17/12: Checks cashed by USCIS;

Day 9 - 05/19/12: Hard copies of NOA received;

Day 13 - 05/23/12: ASC Appointment Notice (biometrics scheduled for 06/15/12);

Day 19 - 05/29/12: Walk-in Biometrics (second attempt successful);

Day 32 - 06/11/12: Email and letter in hand with an appointment notice for the interview (scheduled for June 12, 2012);

Day 63 - 07/12/12: Interview at National Benefits Center: APPROVED!

Day 68 - 07/17/12: Email saying that I-485 was approved and card production ordered!

Day 72 - 07/21/12: Welcome Letter in Hand!

Day 76 - 07/25/12: Green card arrived in mail!

DONE!
