I am back. A question a Day ;-)

1. So at the interview both petitioner and beneficiary are required to attend?

2. There's no way we can determine when our K-1 visa will be issued, and therefore there's no defined date or location has been decided for our wedding yet. Will this be an issue for our? ( We have no problem providing proof of our relationship though) considering there are quite a lot uncertainties in the application process, we are just gonna wait for our k-1 visa to be issue and then start planning for wedding in detail.

Thanks

1. Depends on the ipolicies of the interviewing consulate.

2. Very common, due to the reasons you stated. The CO may mention to marry within ninety days of US arrival. We now have definite plans once we had the visa in our possession.

Good luck on your visa journey.

BTW, that was two questions for today...

In some consulates, the petitioner isn't even allowed in, so you should check. But no, only the beneficiary.

And no, not having a date won't matter either. We are in the same situation, we didn't plan yet our wedding, but we got our K1 no problem. Just tell them roughly your plan, like where you are thinking about getting married, etc. But they don't expect you to have dates yet!
