Hi there!

Correct me if Im wrong, but when it comes to AOS, my daughter will need to be filed

for seperately?... is this right?

and if so, does anyone know whether we pay the full fee for children also?

Ive looked on the boards and havent been able to find the answer, so any

help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, and good luck on your travels.

Chloe,

We filed a separate I-485 for my stepson, as well as a separate I-864. I submitted them clipped into different sections of the same file folder in an attempt to keep them from becoming inadvertently separated. I'm not sure how USCIS does things, but I didn't want my husband's and son's apps to get separated by accident because I was hoping their biometrics and AOS interview appointments would be scheduled together (they were).

Some of the other requirements for the child(ren) depend on age; for example, children over 14 need their own G-325A and biometrics appointment. I found the instructions for the I-485 to be fairly straightforward about most aspects. They can be found here:

Best wishes!

Maya

Edited to add: Congrats on your NOA2!
