Some shots require a series if you have never had any for lifetime protection. Others are over with a single session. Getting your medical done too early could affect the length of time you have to enter the US when you get your visa. The validity of the visa expires at 6 months or the validity of the medicals whichever is less. If you are planning to grab the visa and run once AP is done then not much of an issue. But do remember to allow for 6 weeks of AP. Hopefully you get none but allow for it in your timeline.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I'm getting a little more associated with certain terms on Visa Journey...but this one baffles me. First what is AP and why should anyone have to wait after interview? I thought you could leave right away...

AP means addition processing. Many Nigerians are experiencing additional checks after approval ever since the first of the underwear boys.

Ok forgive me but why would they need AP after being approved for the visa, also what is underwear boys?
