Need some advice!!

My 2 kids arent going to the U.S. with me but was advised to include them on my visa petition! Here's my problem ---- their father (my ex husband) has laminated both their birth certificates. Is this going to be a problem when i go for my interview and asked for my documents?? Or will i have to buy 2 new birth certificates for them before i go??

Any help will be appreciated :D

I don't think it would cause a problem, I can only go by my interview and they took the originals and the copies is did - then handed me back my originals.

I enclosed my marriage certificate for my first marriage as well as the divorce decree. I am not sure what, if anything they did with it though.

Good luck:D

Even though I am not from the Uk, maybe this will help:

Please do check how well laminated they are, laminated originals are totally acceptable anywhere as far as my experience goes and they photocopy jsut fine too. My parents had laminated (thin one though) my BC and a couple of my educational certifcates and when I used them at the American embassy the last time i applied for a visa, they were totally acceptable. They anyways need just the copies, and even my laminated certificates' copies come out just fine.
