My hubby and I went to the US Embassy in Manila to file for my I-30 last May 11, 2012. We were told that we should expect a mail or e-mail within nine weeks. However, we haven't gotten anything from them. My hubby e-mailed them last May 28th and their reply was:

The processing of a petition takes a minimum of three months. If you have not heard anything after three months from the date of filing, you may inquire from this office via this email address.

Today my husband e-mailed them again to find out when and how are we going to receive anything from them.

Do you guys have an idea if it's going to be mailed to us or it will be just e-mailed? How long should we really wait?

Thank you!

Hi.. You may email them again this week. Actually, if you will wait for the snail mail (approval letter) from them, it would take longer. Therefore, the best thing to do is email them again and follow up your case. That was I did. Another way is call them, 02-301-2000 ext. 2224. I think this week or next week, you could get your approval. It is mostly 2 months from the time of application date.

You can PM me if you have questions.

Thanks.
