Anyone

ever heard of the American Community Survey by the U.S Dept of Commerce

? They want to know among other things-when my house was built , Have I

sold any agricultural products in the past 12 months, how far I drive

to work, what time I leave home, how many toilets I have and how much is

my electric bill. I am required by law to answer. I am now an official

hard core libertarian. I will not answer and will never answer these

questions to my Government.. It's on!

Non-compliance carried a fine of no more than $100.00 until Reagan signed the Sentencing Reform Act into law in 1984. The maximum fine for non-compliance is $5,000.00 since. A small price to pay for your freedom and privacy seeing that you are a principled, hard-core libertarian.

and I agree 100 is a small price, but any price is too much. It's none of the Govts business period.

Along these same lines---I was in the Peach Mac store yesterday to return a box of screen protectors. (They were the wrong color) . They were unopened and my wife had the receipt. The clerk asked. Ok no problem, what is your name and address. I replied that I did not want to furnish that information. She got the manager. The manager, explained, " well we get that info on return transactions but we don't use it in anyway. I explained, Ma'amm if you don't use it in anyway, why do you need it ? She got testy and said it was policy. I explained it was my policy to not put my personal information in Databasses unless there was a valid reason. I stood my ground and explained I had a valid receipt and an unopened undamaged box. She finally relented and let me, but she was visibly annoyed and thought I was obviously nuts. I don't care. We need to take back our foredoom from our government and corporate America..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well, Reagan felt $100.00 wasn't enough so he raised the stakes to $5K.

Well then Reagan was as wrong about that as he was immigration matters.
