USC Bringing Parents To The US From The Philippines

Is there anyone that has brought parents from the Philippines or doing it now that can help? What did you send? Is NBI good enough or do we need police clearance also? For those not from the Philippines NBI is like the FBI in the US. NBI is like the national police clearance in the Philippines. It will take forever to get police clearance from different parts of the Philippines.

If they never lived or work out side the PI then no police clearance from other country. For the Philippine NBI! Don’t forget CFO.

FYI the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance wont take forever and it doesn’t come from different parts of the PI, it is a collection of data on computer.

For a K1 visa all that is required is the NBI clearance, you do not need local police clearance. I wouldn't imagine this is any different for any other type of visa. FYI my fiancé went ahead and got clearance anyway, from Manila and Zamboanga police. They were never looked at or asked for. Only NBI.

I know what NBI is. I was saying the regular police clearance would take forever with trying to get it from each city they have lived in.

And I know what type of clearance you need. Like I said "For the Philippine NBI!"
