Is there anyone that has brought parents from the Philippines or doind it now? What did you send? Is NBI good enough or do we need police clearance also? For those not from the Philippines NBI is like the FBI in the US. NBI is like the national police clearance in the Philippines. It will take forever to get police clearance from different parts of the Philippines. I am a USC

Go to USCIS.gov. This website will tell you exactly what you need to do to bring your parent/s over to the US. An NBI clearance is not required at all.

Mailed Application: 5/31/12 (Express Mail)

Received @Phoenix AZ Lockbox: 6/1/12

Cashed check: 6/6/12

Received Form I-797C from USCIS: 6/7/12
