Many states still have the death penalty and continue to kill people all the same.

What changes is the name and nature of the crime. The punishment is final and the same.

Because civilized countries are shooting women in the head every day because of adultery. I read about it in the press all the time.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Precisely. Even here in the US we are still sentencing people to death. I do not think the crime is relevant so much as the end of the punishment is the same.

So your equating murder with adultery now eh?

I was equating death by lethal injection with death by a bullet. In both cases, end result is the same.

What's that have to do with some wingnuts shooting women for adultery?

You are the one making the comparison, so I would expect you to know the answer.

Find another thread to troll or answer the question. Try OT...they have some game threads on there you might enjoy.

Are you equating getting stoned with getting stoned?

I have only been stoned once and in one way - that was in a Moslem country - and most of the stones were prickly horse chestnuts

My only sin was to be an infidel in Istanbul, Turkey the day after 9-11 in 2001

They thought it was the final push to eradicate us infidels and they were on a roll

That is why we need to civilize these people by all means - because once they have finished with their women, we will be next

The British told the Indians (In India) that we would hang them if they didn't stop burning widows

They stopped

We should tell the Saudis and the rest of them that we will invade and do the same to them

It's in our own interests to impose civilized (not christian) values either by sanctions or the rope

Aren't those two equivalent? 'Eradicating infidels' and 'we need to civilize these people by all means', seem to carry the same notion that one knows best what is good for others, as seen by different cultures.
