I flew from SF to HK in Feb, cost was $1090. I flew Cathay Pacific, worst food I've ever had on a plane, had the runs before I could even get to a restroom in HK, :wacko:

you can do special request on your meals. e.g. different kind of vegetarians and special diets. the food i had was better than northwest airlines (in 2002).

rant time - why do i feel like airline prices revolves around me? everytime when i want to travel they prices go up! in the past i had traveled mostly in the summer. now this time it is september and the prices are going up. last week i check it was $150 cheaper. %^&*^&*()(*%^&*(

I hear you!!! :thumbs: I got RT airfare to Beijing in June for what my spouse paid for ONE-WAY in July !!!! :angry: A total rip-off !!! :angry: :angry: We are not planning any trips to China for awhile. Thank the Lord my family is now in America!

another travel agency said she is a new immigrant and would have to charge 300$ extra... im like #######! i check the 1 way on cathay and so much cheaper than the quoted.
