So you are saying that you were approved and got NOA1 and NOA2 already or just NOA1? You should know that for your husband being a LPR or a Green Card holder you will wait at least 2 years for a visa to be available for you!Your case is approved by USCIS goes to NVC than when NVC get all your documents and close you case you seat and wait for your PD or Priority Date that in this case is 12 March 2012 saying that you should get your visa around 2014!Now if he becomes a US citizen he could change your case from F2A to CR1/IR1 and it will have a better chance to speed up your process!

It's 8 months (or around that) for the whole process if your husband is a citizen. It's 2.5 years (or around that) sicne your husband is "only" a greencard holder.

es that there is a possibility that the delay to receive his visa to F2A accelerates. They can slightly increase the number of visa year.I saw it on the net in the period October 2011 to receive the F2A visa was 6 month of why it happened and how it is demoted

To get the visa processed is around 6 months...Now to receive a visa is around 2.5 years! Got it? Only IR don't have to wait for a visa other categories F1,F2,F4 have to wait longer because they are not IR so the best thing is get your husband to become a US Citizen so then your process can be faster nothing else can speed up!
