Retired military are not required to get any authorization to get married overseas are they like active duty are?

Additionally do they get any benefits like active duty does when requesting visa's for foreign spouses?

No you do not have to have permission from the Military to marry, and since you are retired you don't get a leg up. Good luck on your new life (retired and married)
