Hi, I just called and received the case number and IIN, they have our e-mails, but have not heard from them yet. Has anyone done the DS-261 choice of agent online? I need to use this. My wife is in Lima, Peru. Can the petitioner fill out the form online? I see nothing about the DS-261 choice of agent form, when I log in, only the AOS bill and IV bill says not invoiced.

My wife speaks mostly spanish, and some English. The form is English.....Any help is appriciated.

Married...... 1-20-12

Sent I-130... 1-30-12

NOA1........ 2-1-12

Although the beneficiary is supposed to fill out the DS-261, since she doesn't know English, you can fill out the form for her.

To get to the online forms, you have to log on here: https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Default.aspx

The DS-261 is the online version of the DS-3032 and some countries are required to fill out the online version.

Please read the reply you quoted again as the answer is right there.

And the sentence "because the DS-3032 has to do it" doesn't make any sense. What? blink.png

The DS-261 is the same thing as the DS-3032, just online. The DS-260 is the same thing as the DS-230, but online. The DS-3032/DS-261 and DS-230/DS260 should be filled out by the beneficiary. But, as I said earlier in the thread (the post you quoted), the petitioner can fill it out.
