I-864 need to be notorized?

Hi all!

I am ready to send in my AOS, but want to make sure if I-864 need to be notorized? Also, do I need to list all my assets such as my bank accounts even though my annual income is well above poverty guide line? Please, I do need input urgently. Thank you.

No, the instructions don't indicate notarizing needed. You need not list those either, just your income. If your income is well above the line consider using the I-864EZ, simpler and it only asks for income info.

Thank you for all the responses. On form I-824EZ required all YES to the first 3 questions. I do not have my w2 forms. I am self-employed. I only have copies of my tax transript, form 1040. Am I still able to use this I-864EZ?

For self employed you have to use the normal I-864, Tax transcript for past 3 years will do, along with schedule C,D,E or F from your most recent federal tax return.

Also a note: Some people seem to get hanged up on how to note their spouse on these forms, for the purpose of the form they are not counted as spouse, but as the immigrant beneficiary.

going through all the information available i think the tax return of recent year is sufficient enough... am i wrong???????
