it takes a little while... check out the NVC filers - july 2012 thread for the most current NVC happenings... saylin is there and she has a spreadsheet in her signature that lists many people recently on VJ who are and have gone thru NVC for a good year or so back... she lists dates from the NOA2... and for every NVC step... that's your best source of info

Sept. 22, 2011 - NOA1

March 13, 2012 - NOA2 (via text/email)

NVC

March 19, 2012 - Case received at NVC (in building)

April 02, 2012 - Received case #, IIN, submitted email addresses

April 03, 2012 - AOS bill invoiced & paid; 'IN PROCESS'

April 03, 2012 - emailed DS-3032

April 04, 2012 - AOS fee cleared from bank account

April 06, 2012 - DS-3032 acceptance email received

April 10, 2012 - AOS payment 'PAID'; AOS package sent

April 16, 2012 - AOS accepted/completed

April 25, 2012 - IV bill invoiced & paid; 'IN PROCESS'

April 27, 2012 - IV payment 'PAID'; IV package sent

May 01, 2012 - NVC case complete!!!

May 09, 2012 - Received interview notification email

May 10, 2012 - Case was sent to embassy

May 16, 2012 - Medical Appointment

June 04, 2012 - Approved

Once your I-130 got to the NVC did you call and give them your email address? You can do that so it'll go a little more quicker than waiting for snail mail. Plus you can also pay online too. I think that once we called and gave them our email addresses, my husband got the email asking about his choice of agent. Once he named me, then we both got the AOS bill notice emailed to us so we could pay it online.

Lol actually right as i am complaining about this, i got the email! goshhh. See the issue was we are going through lawyers, and i told them to email me as soon as they sent in the packet to NVC and the fee bill, and hadent got anything from them. But now i have, freaking idiots. NEVER AGAIN WITH A LAWYER!

Aww well at least you got it!!! Yeah I debated on using a lawyer and after doing some major research I decided to do it on my own. I hate having to give that much control up to a lawyer, so that made my decision! Good luck with your journey!:thumbs:
