Hi everyone.

Everytime I post a question everyone is so helpful and give quick and accurate answers and keep me going when I'm trouble so here it goes again. I need to pay my visa fees in Philippines embasy but I'm having problems to do it. My bank is not includded on the list of banks for Bancnet. Once we had a BPI branch in the area but is close. Someone told me there is a new branch for BPI in Dallas but I can't find it. Is there any other bank I can use to reroute the fees and keep all then requirements? My fiancée lives in province and they don't have BPI. Perhaps I could make payment on the phone?

Best regards

I thought it could be paid online as well. Although I seem to remember running trouble too when I tried. Luckily we were in Manila, so no problem finding a BPI. How far out of a bigger town is your fiancé? She might have to travel to find a BPI, but they're pretty common all around the Philippines.

Maybe someone else will have better ideas.

no. for k1 you can't pay it online, she should go personally, requirement for paying visa for k1 is the passport and they use her passport # on the receipt as her receipt #.

Actually it CLEARLY states that you can pay online through Bancnet, or if you're already a BPI customer you can pay online too. I tried at the time to pay via Bancnet, but I didn't have a bank account listed. But many in the Philippines would have a bank on the bancnet system.

Anyway, yes, we paid in person, but in the packet 3, regarding the K1, it does clearly state that you can pay in person, OR online via BPI or Bancnet. You would theoretically just enter her passport number in the transaction.

yes i know, but i would advice to just pay personally i mean the beneficiary paying it online sometime get problems scheduling their appointments :) but it is up to the applicant if they want to pay it online or in person. BPI banks are everywhere, sometime they're having probs of the amount sometime it is short of cents and they can't schedule because it is short but that's a rare case, anyways goodluck to the OP.

The embassy letter clearly states is has to be paid in PESOS - Php, paying at a BPI branch in the USA would be paying in dollar$ . You can pay online from certain Philippine bank accounts.

Just sent your Fiancee the money and have her take her passport to any BPI branch to get this done.

I understand that. If you read it again. I go to say that I sent the money to my fiance and SHE paid it, while I called and scheduled the interview.

Most banks if not all will ask if you would like to sent the money in US dollars or the end user type of currency. I really don't see a problem if I could find a BPI in Texas.

The closest BPI branch to my fiance is about 6 hours away from her. That would be Tacloban City. Another option would be to send the money to a relative and let them pay it for us but that creates another question. Can that relative pay it using only the passport number (we can give the passport number on the phone) and not having the passport on hand?

After that is done can that relative just scan the receipt and e-mail to us?

Thanks everyone for helping.
