Hi Everyone!

I went to the interview June 21,2012 and it seemed the interview went well. I was prepared with all my paper work. After the interview the consulate asked me to bring translations in English that is notarized. I broguht them those translations the very next day but I dont understand why they needed me to go translate my military document and birth certificate again because it was already translated in English with a notary. I asked the consulate when I can arrive in USA and he said maximum 2 weeks if all the documents are okay. It has been two weeks now and we have not heard any thing from them, I sent them an email but they dont respond either. Does any one know how long it will take for them to contact me about my visa? They gave me a 221g form to provide additional documents which i provided the next day and we still have not heard any thing from them.

have the USCitizen Petition call the DoS Hotline (# in my profile, study left panel) then ask for casefile status.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I did call that number where I found on travelstate.gov website. The only thing they told me is that it is on Administrative processing. The embassy never gave us information that it was in Administrative processing. The only form they gave us is the 221g form that states " for continuation of your case submit those documents which was the birth certificate translation and the military document in English translation with a notary. Even I asked the consulate when I can go to USA he said maximum 2 weeks if all the documents are okay. I know all the documents are okay because it was approved through USCIS back in February 2011 and National Visa Center in May of 2012. I don't understand what they are still looking at that it went under Administrative processing.
