Hi

My green card was approved today for a 2 yrs conditional and was given a letter before we left the room. The IO took all my I 94s and my employment auth card. My question is,

Will the green card be the replacement for my employment card?

Does it really take 60-90 days for the card to be received?

Thanks for all the help,

If you already have an EAD, you can start working at any time. when you receive your GC, you'll simply leave the EAD at home and bring your GC to work. your employer will want to see your new document, for I-9 update purposes, but that's it. there is no gap in between (provided that your EAD is still valid).
