I am a CR-1 filer, and I just got this...

So, I have this DS-3032 form, the Choice of Address and Agent. My question is - what will they be sending my wife? Is it something I can fill out for her and "have her" sign it? Should I request that everything get sent to me, or if I have them go to Moscow, will they get there?

I am kind of confused at this point. I suppose I could just have them send me everything, and if needed I could fedex everything she needs to Russia. She doesn't speak english, so it would be quite difficult for her to fill out the forms herself, and she doesn't have a scanner to scan the documents so I could fill them out for her.

Anyway, what was your experience? Did you choose Moscow or USA for your documents?

Thanks!

If you give over both of your email addresses to a NVC operator, then all correspondence from NVC is sent by email. Because of this, the DS-3032 is kind of a moot form. It still has to be sent in, but no matter who you choose as agent, both of you will get correspondence (as long as you give over the email addresses).

Some advice: get your wife to print out a couple of blank copies of the DS-230. Have her just sign part 1 (part 2 is signed at the interview) and send those copies along with her needed documents to you. Once you receive that, carefully fill out one of the DS-230s. Then, send all that to NVC. The reason for the multiple copies of the DS-230: in case you get a checklist for the form, you won't need to wait for your wife to send you another copy from Moscow as you'll have them on hand already and just need to re-fill it out correctly.

Thanks, looks like my wife chose me as the agent.
