it is far from at a standstill, if you read there are many people here in the last few days that have been approved, you are still well within the normal processing times. The people at USCIS have no control over their workload, they have hundreds of thousands of petitions to adjudicate at any given time. They are entitled to a day off for the 4th of July just like everyone else in the US.

11/27/2012 Visa Packet delivered/Air booked-business class all the way!!

12/05/2012 flew to Manila-CFO sticker-USA Bound
