Hi. I just wanna share with you some insights regarding the co sponsorship. I am here in the Philippines with my fiance (USC). We both graduated from medical school and reviewing for the medical boards in the Philippines. i have been reading some replies that co sponsorship isnot allowed in Manila. Myfiance called the USCIS about ourcase since, he needs to use a co sponsor obviously because he is not working and he is using his brother as a cosponsor. He even mentioned to the operator that he is penniless and would be working after 2 years pa if he passes the medical boards and gets into residency. my fiance asked if he can use his brother who lives in California, (my fiance lives in IL)The operator replied that there wont be any problem with that as long as the co sponsor meets the requirements., what im trying to point out here is that I think the co sponsorship isacase to case basis. its not really absolute that it is not allowed. oh by the way, my fiance and his sister are both doing the same thing. my future sister in law is also petitioning her fiance which she met here. and theyre both be using co sponsorship. good thing they have lots of siblings in the US.

by the way..that pertains to us embassy in manila. Call them up and ask, not the uscis hotline. You dont wanna rely on that and then the US embassy in Manilla is gonna drop that information on u at the end.
