Timeline

I got a mail from us consulate general Montreal asking me to provide Canadian citizenship or status in Canada....so should I mail them the copies or what?

Jan,2008 we met each other for the first time
March 11,2010, I flew to Dallas to visit him. We started dating.
September, 2011, we made the most stupid mistake we could have, sending out packet I-129 application without putting in a single page of supporting document.
January 12,2012, we received our declined petition letter after 5 months :-(
January 20, 2012, I flew to Dallas to prepare the packet and sent out the fiance petition
January 23, 2012, we received our noa1
May 30,2012, we received our noa2
June 13,2012, Our case was forwarded to Montreal
July 4,2012, I received RFE
July 5, 2012, I sent out RFE
July 9,2012, Montreal received my RFE
July 16,2012, I sent out my Packet 3 (I did not call Montreal to confirm if they have sent out my Packet 3)
July 25,2012, I received my Packet 4 in email
September 4,2012 at 9:10 am, visa approved !!!
September 6,2012, Visa in hand
November 17,2012, POE in Chicago
February 09,2013, Wedding

March 16,2013, AOS package sent out

March 22,2013,NOA received.

You should supply the Consulate with the information requested. Many people often use the mail to submit items that are required.

They did not tell you where to mail it? If not I would reply and ask for the address they wish you to use. Yes, you should send photo copies - do not send the original of your passport or birth certificates. You will bring those to the interview.

All corrspondence should contain your case number as a point of referral when you do send it.

They did not tell me anything..just say I need to provide it...and give me the case number and stuff. No address,nothing. I don't know if i should send visa DHL or what...I called DOS and guess what? They said my package 3 was send out on Jan 1,2012 but the petition was approved on May 30,2012.......

Timeline

In my case, it was not an RFE but my medical was delayed and I had to mail it weeks after my interview. I used DHL, wrote my case number in and on the package and provided them with a photocopy of their request for me to provide the documentation. I did not have any issues the package. As it was said, always provide them copies, save your originals for the interview (same for AOS later on).

US citizen since April 2016

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

So I sent it through xpress.I didn't have time to go to Markham and drop it there.The only time i could mail it throughout the day was the lunch break...I am so sick and tried of dealing with it already!!! I called DOS today and what shocked me was that they told me my package 3 was sent out on Jan 1st, 2012!!! What a joke!!! Can they make the process any slower and more erroneous!!!

According to your sig you petitioned January 20, 2012. How is that possible?
