We were actually denied at first due to public charge but they asked her to send her passport back June 20th. I hope the visa is printed but I've seen different emails from other peoples situations. I'm crossing my fingers.

Hi just wondering what is this public charge that cause ur denial. Wud appreciate ur reply. Thanks

Public charge is if you dont make enough money. So ur fiancé is considered public charge. First half of 2010 I was unemployed for 6 months. That's why they refused it at that time. But I've been working now for a year and sent them pay stubs. So now it's approved.

She just picked up her visa. Looking for a ticket now for next week.

Don't forget to tell your fiance to do the CFO seminar and get the CFO sticker on her Passport, without CFO sticker they will not allow her to check in at the aiport or fly to US.

She's doing that this Monday. I had a few questions regarding the needed documents. (Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound/ Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada bound/ Certification of Eligibility (for Japan-bound) What and where do u get these?

Thanks again.

The following requirements that need to bring (make sure to photo copy it and at the same time bring the original documents)

Photo copy of 2 valid Id’s

Photo copy of birth certificate from NSO

Photo copy of Marriage Certificate from NSO(for cr1/ir1)

Proof for your relationship ( like pictures, letters or cards ) ( they get 1 pic for their file )

Photo copy of passport ( front page )

Photo copy of visa from first departure and last arrival ( if ever you been travelling before as a tourist )

Photo copy of divorce paper if your partner is divorce

Summary data(for cr1/ir1)

650 pesos (for seminar and sticker)

note: she don't have to complete everything but as far as she can she should bring it with her since CFO are moody sometime and even reject applicants and not give them seminar if they don't have the docs they're asking. goodluck. :)

summary data isn't applicable to her since she's k1

and the other thing you mentioned isn't applicable to her also since she's going to US not canada nor japan.
