Hello VJS!

We are all set to file our AOS however are stuck at question 25 in the I-864, he has filled for a extension so how do we answer the question 25? we are not yet sure how much he made in 2011? or do we leave it blank and attach a explanation? :(

25. I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year.

(Optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for my second and third most recent tax years.

Tax Year Total income

2011 (most recent) $ ?

2010 (2nd most recent) $

2009 (3rd most recent) $

I hope someone will answer soon.

Thanks

Send a copy of the extension letter.

If the sponsor is self employed, that won't be enough. The tax return is required. If unable to produce, wait until it can be produced or find a joint sponsor.

You can put "see attached sheet" or something similar.

Current annualized income is the number that matters most. You support that income claim with an employer letter and recent paystubs.

Is it better to just keep it blank or write see copy of extension?

Thanks

Put See Attached Extension or something like that. Don't leave it blank.
