I thought Darren came up with a brilliant strategy. Create a thread that only allows congratulations, then start one for discussion and just get people banned from it.

I think starting the thread with a disclaimer and PM counterpoint instructions...shrewd. :hehe:

I'm just a confused girl who doesn't know why women are smaller after pregnancy or what fancy words like 'uterus' mean. Thanks for clearing it up for me, Doc.

Clearly. I am glad you moved straight to the acceptance phase. I am just thankful that your confusion is not contagious.

If you have any other words of wisdom to share, I'd be glad to read them.

the hospital is concerned over me possibly being dominant over her.

These are such weird comments.

What seems weird to me is how you are trying to stir up some controvercy over the OP's comments on a thread were he is celebrating the birth of his new child. But doing it in a way that is not a TOS violation, trying to get other members to agree and start a trash talking rant about the OP who we all know gets ridiculed everytime he tries to enjoy this site. I am sure you going to say that you didnt imply that at all with what you said. Thats a typical Trash Talker's Denial.

What seems weird to me is your over-reaction to Evylin's comment. What is it exactly that you find "normal" about a hospital believing a man is behaving in a dominant manner over his wife? I find it disturbing.

Also, you must have used a crystal ball to conjure up Evylin's motivations for her comment. I find that equally disturbing.

Well if you knew the OP and understand were his wife is from you would understand that Gretchen was raised to respect the Man in her life. Perhaps she feels that since she doesn't have experience with the whole process of delivering a child and her husband has had two in a previous marriage that maybe she wanted him to make the decisions for her and the child in the hospital.

Not sure if you ever had a child before, but when a woman delivers the infant and placenta there is alot of free space in the uterus (or to lessen possible confusion, the Abdomen). So whats weird about Darren saying that she has gotten smaller since delivering the child?

Now Surely someone as intelligent as you are would have understand that when reading his comments and would have dismissed it immediately after reading them unless they wanted to stir up ####### on the OP and start a (all caps) "Trash Talking" binge on the OP. Or maybe you were just confused. I have noticed your confusion in other threads before this.

I'll let B_J answer your diatribe because he said it best...

Congratulations on knowing all of this. And thanks for letting us know how his wife was raised. Most of us here don't understand anything about that part of the world.

 Thanks, B_J

Its amazing. After i read your comment i had a sudden urge to take a dump. Thanks for that! Maybe i should research more of your comments. I just hope that if i saw you in person it would not make me vomit. Hoping will be good in that case.

Darren never said that the Hospital said that he is dominant over her. Darten said that the hospital is possibly believing that he is dominant over her. Common sense tells me that a woman that does not speak English like the average American, in a hospital delivering a baby for the first time in her life, being asked a million questions about her medical history and background would have her Husband handle most of the Q&A going on during the hospital stay. I forgot to mention the stress of the situation and pain that goes along with labor. If i saw that situation happen in front of me without common sense i would find it very odd and disturbing that this woman was not answering the questions asked to her and that her dominant husband was doing all the talking. With common sense i see the situation as like mentioned above. A woman that has no experience in what she is going through and doesnt have the best background on speaking english, if i was her Doctor, i would utilize her Husband as an excellent source of information on her background and medical history.

Are you Darren's little brother? Are you going to the Village too because I can't tell what you're doing here in this thread?
