After waiting a month to get a case number, now how much longer do I have to wait to get an AOS bill? It's been a week already...

USCIS

2012 Jan 23: NOA1

2012 May 31: NOA2 (129 days)

NVC

2012 Jun 25: NVC received file from USCIS

2012 Jun 28: NVC assigned case number

2012 Jun 28: DS-3032 e-mailed to NVC

2012 Jul 10: DS-3032 was accepted

2012 Jul 10: AOS fee is Invoiced

2012 Jul 10: AOS fee is Paid

2012 Jul 11: AOS fee status showed Paid in system

2012 Jul 12: AOS package sent to NVC

2012 Jul 20: AOS package accepted

after you send the choice of agent form and it is accepted they will generate an AOS i864 invoice..after that is paid and accepted they will generate the IV fee

How do I get the barcode to put on the DS3032??? They haven't sent me anything yet.

How do I get the barcode to put on the DS3032??? They haven't sent me anything yet.

your timeline said that you emailed already your DS 3032 and you won't need a barcode for that once they accept you DS 3032 just concentrate in paying the fees!

This has not been my experience.

After the case and IIN have been assigned, NVC sends an instruction email to both the petitioner and beneficiary. Attached to this email is the DS 3032, Choice of Agent form. The instructions also ask you to log into the DoS site to pay the AOS I864 which has already been invoiced. This means to say, that the AOS is invoiced at the same that the Choice of Agent form is sent to you.

After paying the $88 fee, and it is marked as PAID on the DoS site, you may send in the AOS packet. My understanding is that once NVC accepts the DS3032, they will then invoice the IV bill and you can pay that and mail it off once it is marked as PAID.
