Hi Medical student. Please follow poverty income guidelines. Here is the link.http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf This guideline is used to determine whether you are eligible to sponsor someone ( income wise). Your income must meet this minimum requirement to overcome public charge. If your income is lower than the requirement, then you must show that you have savings or/and assets to compensate for income ( Please read the I864 Instructions for more information). Alternatively,if you don't have adequate savings and assets to compensate for income, then you can have a co-sponsor.The combined income will be used to meet required minimum income. Hope this helps.

Hi dear

I think you're wrong because incomes can not be combined. Co-sponsor should meet the requirement individually

i wanna ask u guys if i can apply for a visitor visa and i am under f2a application ?!!!!!!! or they will deny it because i have to wait ?!!!!!!!!!!

My husband applied for Visitor Visa early 2011. He is owner of his dad's business, very high taxes paid and all assets. The counselor was very good, they kept his passport, they returned passport after 2 months from New Delhi without Visa. Its waste of money to try. Many other i know were refused. They said you just have to wait for an immigrant visa.

I am praying so hard to get visa bulletin moved fast. I been living without my husband for almost 3.5 years. God please do a miracle for F2A now.

PD 09/23/2010. May Waheguru Bless us all and shower His blessings to move PD as fast possible. :)
