So I guess it's going to be May,15th 2010! Only 2 months movement!? Sure, they are going to waste thousands of visa's for this fiscal year.... again!!

We should be happy even for 2 months movement. The slow and steady wins the race. Just think from 15 March to 15 May..March and April have gone..yahoo...

F2A PD 9th Feb 2011

Case completed at NVC

Spouse has B2 visitor visa and successfully visited USA twice.

I would have been happy if there was some sort of demand data available!? Which would prove that they are making the right call on their predictions!

No such thing so they are full of it... and there is no such thing as slow and steady in this matter since nothing is transparent!!!

Sky701 my friend we all are will be happy when we will see, that Dos issuing all visas whatever they give out each year.but we all now that to many visas just wasting but for what we don't now.2 month movement its nothing for now because if you look back, the other months it was barely moved 1 month. 2012 already finishing, but we still on may, and worst think is we don't now what we expect on future?.more slow movement or little faster wich i don't believe.

Me too. When we filed our petition a year ago, the cut-off date was 22 July 2008. I think it is amazing that in a year's time the cut-off date has moved almost two years. Particularly since when we got engaged in 2009 the wait for an F2A visa was over four years and the immigration lawyer my husband consulted told us that the wait would never get shorter.

Good luck qasir - for the past few days I've been coming to VJ constantly, just to see if you received your interview appointment!

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

For fiscal year 2010 the PD's Jumped 5 years!? (http://travel.state.gov/visa/statistics/ivstats/ivstats_4581.html) isn't that amazing? How come? Hopefully Athena you won't have to wait as long as we are now...

I wonder what's going on - is it possible that your embassy doesn't have any more available interview slots? I hope you'll still have a chance for September, but for sure your wife will be scheduled for October.
