Wish to migrate to US with my business

Hi all.

I currently live in the UK. I am wanting to move to the US for many reasons. The main being my line of work (in IT)

my future plan/goal is to work for the company whom I've worked for before but wish to eventually rejoin the company but at the main HQ. unfortunately there is no real position openings or even if there were, I would not get a chance because im located in the UK and they wont sponser anyone unless they cant find someone within the country.

Putting that aside, I have my own business in the UK. Successful, thankfully. I am self employed and have my own LTD company.

I am wondering, is it possible for me to get a visa and migrate over taking my business with me? if so - what is the process?

will I have an impact on the US economy - I hope so. I mean currently, I have a client in the US whom I'm working for and have a big project but I work from home in the UK - I earn around $5-7000 USD/month so it seems I am doing a great job (with appraisals) and also getting them more work from the customer of theirs.

So this I think, and hope, is an indication that not only am I having an impact on the UK business, but also overseas in the great nation of USA.

Anyone know where I stand on this? Like I said, I want to move myself and my company over to the US and continue doing what I do with the business but in US.

Thanks!

In terms of immigrant paths, you may be eligible for an investor visa if your business will create jobs in the US.

For other paths to permanent immigration to the US, you can see this link:

You might especially want to see if you qualify for any other EB visas:http://www.uscis.gov...000b92ca60aRCRD

There may be some non-immigrant possibilities, but I'm not very well-versed in those, maybe another poster will have more information on ways to temporarily live in the US.

I also think it would be a good idea to talk to an attorney experienced in employment-based paths to the US. This firm is one I highly recommend. I have personally interacted with Atty. Henry Chang, and I know he and his partner know all about the potential avenues, even more rare ones, that might be available in your case:

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

CRBA filed 1-3-13 at Seoul for our daughter

You can not move on the basis mentioned.

I presume you are not English etc so the DV may be an opportunity for you.

Otherwise easiest an internal transfer or harder getting a job with a US Company.

Then no DV.
