We are about 2 months into this from the NOA1. I am the type of person that likes to have ALL my ducks in a row. Is it too early to print off the DS-156 now? Or should I wait until we get NOA2? I just want to be able to have everything done that when its time to send Packet 3 we are ready.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks! Happy 4th of July everyone!

It won't hurt anything to go ahead and fill out and print the DS-156. The beneficiary can just sign and date it right before it is time for the interview.

It does take the stress out of it and also keeps my mind moving forward. Sort of tricking myself to think that if I keep working on more paperwork, it won't feel like so long. Haha this wait seriously sucks so bad. Its the worst part of it all. I cry most nights because I just want to be with the one I love.

I waited until my packet 3 was sent out via Canada Post before doing all the online forms. I was worried that I'd mess up the forms since it was so early and if the consulate didn't receive anything from NVC it would be lost in the mist! I still managed to have the packet 3 totally completed in 2 hours or less - start to finish.
