Is there a website where you can pay US$2000 to get CR1 done in a month's time?

I agree with everyone here. It sounds like it is a scam. Please do NOT waste your money. No one can promise you all that..not even immigration attorneys.

Let me just say that if there were a website that would get my husband a visa in a month, you can bet I wouldn't have paid over $10,000 and spent 4 years on all this mess. :)

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

CRBA filed 1-3-13 at Seoul for our daughter

I used a website called RapidVisa.com for my K1 visa. It really helped in putting the paperwork together. They also have an office in Manila right across from the US Embassy to help my fiance over there when it is time to prepare for the interview. They guaranteed that as long as I had nothing in my background or her background that would prevent us from getting the visa that the papers that they helped us prepare in packages would be approved. They did not give a timeline but said most were being approved within 4 to 5 months. at almost 7 months I was becoming worried, but finally did get the NOA2 and now waiting for my case number from the NVC so I can prepare the next set of papers to send to her and schedule the medical exam.

They charged me $300.00 and in my opinion it was worth it to have them advise me all the way to the point where she will actually get on the plane and come here. I do recommend them if you have any doubts about the paperwork.

I found this disclaimer on the bottom of the RapidVisa website:

Neither RapidVisa, nor its owners and employees, are licensed to engage in the practice of law within any United States jurisdiction. Our services do not include legal services or legal advice: RapidVisa cannot act in a representative capacity on behalf of its customers – we can only assist in preparing and processing your visa application.

So basically you can pay them $300 (or $400 in the case of a spouse visa) for a service you can get for free on Visa Journey - assistance in preparing the forms and documents and knowing how to submit them. Personally, if I'm going to pay money, I want to pay an attorney who is licensed to practice immigration law. Of course, in neither case can paying money actually move you faster than other applicants, but it can help you avoid making common mistakes and probably avoid RFEs. Paying these services does not move your paperwork faster. But it can make the process a bit easier if you don't have time to research it yourself online.

they put really catchy name " RAPID VISA".:blush::blush: they can't do anything out of rule to rapid the process though....

As you said, they just helped you to put required documents on your package. but they PLAYED with words and tell you GUARANTEE as long as....., thats the normal thing. any way they are PRO on their business but definitely $300 is resonable charge specially when any one is not sure what to do on the process....

good luck :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Well I thought there wasn't but my wife called me this morning and is quite adamant about this being the case :help:

ask her for the url. Then study who owns the site .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Well I thought there wasn't but my wife called me this morning and is quite adamant about this being the case :help:

First Immigration Attorney I hired was a SCAM ARTIST.

Very good talker, website looked highly legitimate, talked to me on the phone and by email countless times, but he was a scam artist.

Luckly he only wasted two months of my time. I found out later he wasted 1 to 2 years of most of his clients time.

Here is what I found on the Internet on him after he charged my credit cards twice:

Based on BBB files, L Tod Schlosser & Assoc Ltd has a BBB Rating of F on a scale from A+ to F: http://bit.ly/fDgOAT

Schlosser is also no longer registered to practice law in Illinois, as shown on the IARDC website: http://bit.ly/hDtxdb

Here is a link to the list of complaints against Schlosser pending with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. The complaints are all for “Neglect and failure to promptly refund unearned fee”: http://bit.ly/hyegyB

The complaints in the last two categories got no response from Schlosser. The “Contract Issue” complaint is displayed as “Unpursuable” because “Company cannot be located.” http://bit.ly/fDgOAT

Google search for: Tod Schlosser & Assoc complaint

http://bit.ly/gJQro1

The complaint boards had complaints on him from people who took him to court and won after he scammed them.

If this is the guy you're dealing with, don't even think about it for a second.

Even if it's not the guy you're dealing with... if it sounds too good to be true and looks like a Duck, smells like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck.

For most things of value in life, there are no easy shortcuts.

Quite funny however.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
