U all made me so confused and disturbed.. I m continusly thinking about this.. And yes i didnt told them that i was married.. I appeared as single with my parents..

I think i should concern to my lawyer in this situation.. But really guyz i m very afraid of this!

What u recomend me about this?

Can they refused me again?

It's too late to recommend anything - unfortunately. Key advise you see everywhere here is do not lie. Now it will likely come to haunt you - you can't do really anything. Good luck... Yes - it is very likely they will refuse you, moreover you will be banned for misrepresentation.

I dont understan what r u saying..

I applied torist visa in 2010 after my marriage and i think we didnt fill any form.. Just appoint our interview date..

My father told the co that i was unmarried but co rejected us and didnt give us visa.. This story ends here!

But when my husband applied me under f2a categgry 2010, obviously he said that i m married..

Now what are u saying that go back at my forms?? Which form i should go back?

You fill forms for every visa application.. there no way you get an interview without sending in forms.

I'm saying if you kept copies of those tourist visa application forms you filled out then look at the copies.. it would be clear right there whether you are going to have issues or not.

If you said single then you lied and you will not get into the US they will deny you for misrepresentation

if you said married it should not be an issue

and as for your father.. if he told teh CO at the time you were unmarried and you WERE already married then he LIED to the CO and you have a long road ahead of you.. it's in their information as to the date and the answers of that interview so they will have a record of what was said and what date it was said.

This is lying and misrepresentation being denied and banned from usa is the result.. Get an attorney you're going to need one.

Have your husband hire a GOOD immigration attorney and tell them everything! Don't leave out anything... that's your only hope... and hopefully because your father was the one doing the interview it will lessen the impact on you personally but the fact that the forms were still filled out and you had to sign is still an issue as you should have read and known what you were signing.

I wish you the best! But do hire the immigration attorney NOW!!!!

You obviously do not understand - misrepresentation is an enormous fraud. Lying to consular officer is one of absolutely worst things one can do - try to understand it. You simply lied, this his nothing to do with knowing or not knowing the law.

This is correct

It's not just about what happened back then it's also about what your doing now

There should be a place on the current forms your husband has filled out asking if you have applied for a visa before if you said no then it's also misrepresentation

Do you know how you replied on this form for your spousal visa?

This can get you banned from life without ever the hope of coming here

Your husband citizenship will not change anything other than you can your interview earlier. From the misrepresentation standpoint - no difference. You need to continue to your interview, see if that issue is brought up. If you get denied/banned, hire a lawyer and go for inadmissibility waiver. Just recognize there is a chance it will happen.

if they ask you about you previous applications for visa you MUST tell them the truth!!!!!!!!!!!! If you lie anymore you will just be digging yourself in deeper!!!! And to be honest not knowing the laws has nothing to do with lying. You should never at any point lie to anyone during any of this process. To me this is common sense!!!

They ask about it so be prepared and do NOT lie again!!!

You do not get a visa interview without filing for a visitor visa. There was an I-160 application. NO ONE GETS AN INTERVIEW WITHOUT AN I-160 APPLICATION. You may not have filled out the form, but your father did for you.

In 2010, your father would have filed the paper version of the I-160 for you. Now it is online.

http://islamabad.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html

Nonimmigrant Visas

Nonimmigrant visas are for international travelers coming to the United States temporarily. The visa, placed in your passport when issued, allows you to travel to a port of entry and request the permission of the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection immigration officer to enter the United States. A visa does not guarantee entry. International travelers come to the United States for a wide variety of reasons, including tourism, business, medical treatment, and certain types of temporary work. For an overview of the types of nonimmigrant visas available, please see our Visa Categories page.

Advance planning can smooth the visa application process for you. Apply for your visa well in advance of your travel!

Announcements

DS-160 online visa application must be used by all applicants. Click the link in the left-hand side for more information. Important: Save your information at each stage otherwise you may have to start over if you do not complete the application within 20 minutes.

You are so freaking wrong.

You could have obtained an ITIN to file as married. Have you not heard of married filing separately?

Furthermore tax laws has nothing to do with immigration laws. The only requirement about taxes and immigration law is that the US petitioner must file tax returns or show a legal reason why he/she was not required to file. Essentially if you don't pay your taxes, you don't get to petition for your family. Notice that immigration never ever ask what you marked as your marital status on your tax return. Immigration only asked how much do you make and do you meet the 125% poverty line.

How is the husband filing for his wife? Isn't he applying based on being married?

Please explain to me in your world how a husband can be married in the eyes of the US government, and his wife is single? That doesn't make sense. He has to be married to someone.

You are horribly wrong.
