I emailed the NVC using the choice of agent email template on this site instead of sending the DS-3230. I got the automated response 5 minutes after sending.

This was on Monday the 25th (7 business days ago). I realize today is not a business day, but how long can I expect in receiving a reply? Should I start calling?

Also. The IV bill, is it ivoiced upon acceptance of the choice of agent, or upn acceptance of the AOS?

Btw. Side note, my wife sent a copy of her employment letter, rather than the original. She has a new job, so the employment letter is a crucial part of our AOS package. Will this cause an RFE at the NVC level, or can I just bring the original to the interview?

Hi, so you did get your case number! I was wondering what happened to you. Anyway...I was waiting for a week to get a reply from NVC that my choice of agent has been accepted. Don't worry, they will send you and your wife an email confirming that soon.

IV bill is available online after they accept the choice of agent. And yes, she had to send an original employment letter with the official company logo on the sheet. But the copy might be ok too. You will hear from NVC if it's not ok, they will just ask you to send them an original one. If not, I would totally bring the original one to the interview.

I have already paid everything and sent all the packages in. Maybe this week will bring me the interview date. So excited!

I did get the case number! Finally lol. Unfortunately, my wife is so busy at work the whole AOS package has been delayed by a week already. Even more now since today when she finally has time to send it is the 4th of July!

Her boss is on Oahu (different island) so when she asked for the employment letter she just got a scanned email. Meaning, she only has a photocopy of the employment letter. She's asking for an original, but it might take another week to get one. We just don't want to delay any further, and hoping they'll just ask for the original at the embassy (in which case I'll be ready with it!)

I am sure it will be ok!

I have my medical scheduled for Monday, so it will be over soon as well. I wonder how many vaccination shots I'd have to get.

We are sooooo waiting for them to say case complete. Hoping we hear that on Friday.
