VSF did not ask for AOS

As I have stated in my earlier post, I submitted all documents to VSF. However they did not ask for AOS.

I am a little worried now. Was it necessary to submit AOS documents. I carried all documents with me, but the VSF people never asked the documents.

Anyone with a similar situation?

From your timeline, it looks like you applied for a CR-1 spousal visa? If so, didn't you submit AOS to NVC already?

Could you give more details? Maybe start by filling out your profile with what process you are going through, where you filed.. etc... Than maybe someone can give you an answer. Not much to go on here.

Well,I have applied for a CR-1 visa. My husband submitted AOS at NVC with signed I-864. I carried a copy of this entire package too. But VSF did not ask me to submit it

Now I want to know that all of you people who submitted documents at VSF, did you submit a copy of AOS ?

Packet 4 specifically says this for AOS: "Applicants should check with their sponsor to see if their sponsor has already submitted form I-864 to the National Visa Center (NVC). If so, it is not necessary to submit another I-864."

IR-1/CR-1 category does require AOS to be submitted at NVC before you can get an interview date. That's why VFS did not ask for AOS package.
