HOW LONG DOES NVC TAKE TO DO THIS?

Based on ur experience can anyone dealing with NVC give me a good time estimate as to how long NVC generally takes to review the packet b4 giving interview date? i sent in my husband's packet last week.

If you have submitted all documentation it will take roughly7-10 days to close your case. After that, they will assign you an interview date. This largely depends on the consulate and how busy they are. You can look at my timeline to see how long it took me. Roughly from cased closed to interview date was 2 months.

oooh ok i see thank you for ur answer. so do they always schedule the interview date a month out? or do they give closer interview dates if they hav any available?
