Hello All!

You guys have been of very great help and I can't thank you enough for all you comments/suggestions.

Anyway, we've mailed our applications 06/28 and according to USPS tracking system, it was delivered 07/01 (which was a Sunday) at around 10PM? (Isn't this kinda weird? Sunday night at 10PM? Should I be worried?)

Is there any contact number at the Chicago Lockbox facility to contact if they've received our applications properly?

Also, what happens next? What should we expect? Please enlighten us on how this whole process goes.

Thanks a lot.

No that's not weird someone signing on any day. My was signed at night on a Saturday. Now is just a waiting time. You are here in US I gather from the forms so everything will be done here. As far as how long no one knows. You say Chicago Lockbox so you may go to Vermont Service Center maybe California. You will know when you get your email, text and hard-copy. But its waiting time now. Be sure to track when that money gets cashed. Than just sit back wait for your case# and than go to the USCIS.gov site register your case# and follow.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Please Please put your VJ member name only. Not nicknames or real names whatever your VJ name is. It's below your profile picture!!

Hello! Thank you so much. Good to know that it's not a strange scenario that someone received the applications even on Sunday Nights. I'm just too excited for my husband and I.

Why would you be worried if they received it? Nothing to worry about.

I didn't know how they operate at the facility (that apparently, someone receives the applications 24/7). I was just basing my assumption from how USPS works which delivers mails from Mondays thru Saturdays.

And now, thanks to y'all, I understand how it works.
